We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Financial Planner Marketing Summit until June 2021.
Due to the rising anxiety levels associated with the coronavirus epidemic, we’re struggling to sell enough tickets to make the event financially viable. Financial Planners tell us that their event bookings are on hold until the outcome of the virus is clearer.
Because we’re in our peak ticket selling window from March to May, it’s this unknown that’s prompted the decision to postpone.
From our perspective, there’s also a huge financial risk in going ahead; we pictured a scenario where government policy in the weeks leading up to the event forced a last-minute cancellation, leaving us with unrecoverable costs.
We’ve issued full refunds to all attendees and will also cover the cost of any non-refundable travel or accommodation.
We aim to secure the venue booking for 2021 in early autumn, at which point we will get back in touch with details of the rescheduled event.
