It’s time for us to make our next hire at Bamford Media, as the business continues to grow.
This time we’re looking for a full-time or part-time Content Manager with a passion for writing.
You will help deliver our written projects for clients, including writing white papers, website copy and blog posts.
It’s a key role helping to support the growth of the agency as we engage with more clients in the retail financial services sector.
Salary depending on experience.
In addition to writing for our clients, your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting in the creation of proposals
-Taking ownership of our blog and newsletter, making it the go-to destination for financial planner marketing tips and lessons
-Putting together brand guidelines for our clients and following these to deliver the correct tone of voice in your work
-Writing new articles for our content e-commerce library, FinCart
-Drafting podcast scripts and show notes
-Creating sales copy to help promote our events and press releases for our clients
What do you need to bring to the party?
You will be an incredibly strong writer, with proven experience of writing a variety of short and long-form content.
It’s important you can work independently and within a small team. There’s three of us here right now, but we’re growing.
Knowledge and experience of the retail financial services sector is important for this role as most of our clients operate in this space. This means you know the difference between an ISA and a pension, and acronyms like SIPP or UCIS won’t confuse you.
You will be adept at managing your own workload, hitting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
As a business, we’re committed to supporting the professional growth of our people, so you will be eager to learn, read widely and complete relevant certifications.
You’ll be working in a small (for a while, at least) team so expect to pitch in with ideas and contribute to the running of the office as well during this startup phase.
