Bamford Media hired to deliver PFS Festival Radio
Creative agency Bamford Media has been appointed by the Personal Finance Society to create Festival Radio as part of their Festival of Financial Planning.
A Festival of Financial Planning takes place at NEC Birmingham on 7/8 November 2017.
Festival Radio is the exciting new way to interact with speakers, sponsors and other delegates at the Festival of Financial Planning.
Hosted by Bamford Media founder and Informed Choice Radio’s Martin Bamford, Festival Radio features podcast episodes capturing the best of the Festival, including interviews with headline speakers, partners and exhibitors.
Visitors to the Festival can listen to Festival Radio through their favourite podcast player, including Apple Podcasts and Overcast. Each week in the build-up to the Festival, there will be a new podcast episode to enjoy.
During the Festival itself, visitors and PFS members can also tune in to listen to Festival Radio Internet Radio. This Internet Radio station will feature the latest news, content from the Festival, exclusive podcast episodes and music, making Festival Radio the perfect way to catch up with anything you might have missed.
Bamford Media founder Martin Bamford said:
Podcasting is a fantastic medium to help fully engage delegates and members. We love the innovative approach the PFS is taking with the Festival of Financial Planning and their enthusiasm to integrate audio into the festival experience speaks volumes about how vibrant and exciting this event will be.
Mark Hutchinson, Head of Group Marketing at the Chartered Insurance Institute, said:
With the Festival we wanted to push boundaries and inject a little colour into a trade event all too often perceived as being dry and grey. As well as being a highly qualified financial planner, Martin has a passion for maximising the potential of new media to liven up concepts and really engage with audiences. Martin is bringing our Festival Radio concept to life and I have no doubt it will be an important spark that ignites a conference into a Festival.
